Eyes Wide Shut

Allie Kell is an abstract painter and mother of two based in Saskatoon. Art became a vital source of solace and identity during motherhood, offering a space for self-expression and independence. Painting allows her to process emotions beyond words, serving as both a creative outlet and a grounding force in her daily life.
Her minimalist compositions and neutral tones foster presence and patience in chaos, while her vibrant palette encourages connection with the inner child, promoting freedom and play beyond conventional norms. Painting has been a profound part of her personal and artistic growth, revealing her strength and capability. It provides a space where she can tune out the world and be her true self without expectations.
Through her work, Allie hopes to inspire viewers on a soul level, encouraging self-belief, introspection, and the integration of light and shadow. Reconnecting with her inner artist has opened new doors and possibilities, allowing her to fully embrace life through creative exploration.
